Ladies Circle

Area 28 chairman Kirstyn Canadine with her girls from Boston Circle took part in the Race for Life today. We were blessed by a fantastic day of sun, although alittle too hot for all that running!

In total there were 5 ladies running the race and 3 volunteered as marshalling.

1,600 ladies took part in the race and what an experience to be part of it all.

 Kirstyn was interviewed live before the race for BBC Radio Lincolnshire and again after the race with Boston circlers joining her. Ladies Circle was publicised on both these interviews.

Prior to the race starting she was also given the opportunity to speak over the speakers to the 1,600 ladies present, again mentioning about circle and what a fantastic organisation we belong to.

A leaflet promoting Boston Circle was put into every goody bag given at the end of the race, so watch out Boston could soon be bursting at the seems with new members!

 After all that running, the day was finished off with a family BBQ hosted by myself Sarah (vice chair - Boston).

Lots of fun and friendship had today and not forgetting fundraising for Cancer Research.
