It is a great honour to introduce myself to you all as the National President of such a special organisation.

I have been a member of Ladies Circle for 10 years and during this time it has brought me and my family so many friendships and memories. I can only hope that you too will be challenged with new activities, create new friendships but, most of all enjoy the fun.

Have I got a motto?

‘What a feeling’ , conjures up many images of Circle. Dancing, singing,  enthusiasm and motivation are the key notes and I am hoping to spread a positive and enthusiastic word about Circle on my travels.

?What a feeling?

Reach Out...

This year, I have chosen ChildLine as my national charity.

ChildLine desperately needs charity funding to help answer the thousands of calls made to its freephone number every day.

On average 4,500 calls are made by children reaching out for help. Sadly, only 2,500 calls are answered.

My campaign to raise awareness and vital funds will help benefit those children whose voices are not heard.

To find out more about ChildLine then log onto www.childline.org.uk.

We have a great organisation, with a wonderful past and a brilliant future. ‘With a little help from my friends’ we can all help the future of Circle thrive and step forward to profile NALC as the best women’s organisation out there!

It’s obvious that with this musical thread running through my motto, that this year is not going to be dull. As my nickname suggests ‘Little Miss Positive’ will be there to encourage you all to enjoy Circle for all it’s attributes it has to offer.

So, where is Circle going to?

In June this year, our HQ moves from Keighley, West Yorkshire to Birmingham.  We will be joining the teams of Round Table and 41 Club at Marchesi House.

This is an exciting time of change and, one we will grasp with both hands as we try create a cost-effective organisation, which will provide a great service to our members.

Identifying what we need to do for those smaller circles and smaller areas. We know they are there and will definitely reach out to help them feel part of the bigger picture.

I’ll be there for you...

I am looking forward to travelling out and about the whole of GB&I and to our international friends – spreading the word of friendship. To see where I will be and when please click here.

It will be great to guess my mileage at the end of the year and how many pictures have been taken on my travels.

Here are a few of my most recent visits...
