Old Circlers never die....

Although Circle has an age limit of 45, that doesn't mean that you leave, never to be seen again - quite the contrary in fact!

Tangent was formed as an organisation for ex-Circlers and partners of ex-Tablers.  Generally speaking, they meet once a month, meaning that members keep in touch and continue to enjoy the friendships that were made as members of Ladies' Circle.

Even more importantly, members of Tangent provide invaluable help and support to Circle, particularly when it comes to organising fund raising and charity events. There is also a tradition in many Circles of offering past members honorary years or inviting them to be Circle President, so a great many Tangent members continue a very close association with Ladies' Circle for a long time.

In addition to joining Circlers at many functions and dinners throughout the year, most Tangent Clubs are affiliated to the National Association of Tangent Clubs which has its own national organisation, conferences and events.
