Race for Life – Peterborough
Michelle and Sarah from Boston Circle marshalled at Peterborough’s Race for Life. We were joined by 2,500 ladies running or walking – and several million flies!
Our marshall point was at a bollard, right in the middle of the pathway where the ladies were running. We had great fun shouting "mind the bollard", and "big bollard approaching, ladies", and gave the ladies a giggle!
Being part of race for life is a fantastic experience and one I would recommend it to everyone, whether running or marshalling. There may still be time to volunteer for a race near you this year, or put it on your to do list for next year.
