Girls, what a fantastic day of celebration at our National AGM in Harrogate. And so many great winners. Remember, you have to be in it to win it, so make sure you get your entries in for next year and maybe you’ll be a winner in Blackpool! In the meantime, big congratulations go to:

Area 8 – Most money raised for CRUK – with their Climbing Wall Challenge

Area 28 – Best magazine

Amersham 393 for their Pole Dancing in Pink – winner of the Most Novel Fundraising for CRUK Trophy

Harpenden 212 – Most money raised for charity for their Christmas Gift Fayre; as well as Most money raised for charity per Circler

Winchester 18 – Most new members, going from 6 – 14; Highest percentage increase in new members at 133% (joint winners with Dereham & District 58); and Best Media & PR Coverage.

Dereham & District 58 - Joint winners with Winchester 18, with an increase of 133%, going from 3 to 7 members.

Boston 525 – Best Website – check our their Hatalogue!

Stourbridge & District 154 – Anthony Nolan Trophy awarded by National President Niki Stocken – for their sky-diving challenge, and Embarrassing Bodies on Channel 4

Laura Kingsland of Sandwich Circle – The Side by Side Trophy – for actively working with Round Table

Nordic Hat Winner was Kathryn Hartoch. And she gets to wear her hat of glory to every Circle event throughout the year! She also chooses next year’s winner in Blackpool


Finally, the Speaker from the Floor award was given by Immediate Past President Lynda Wieland to Emma Taylor, of Harpenden 212

All the Awards were seriously fought over – well done girls, for all your hard work over the past year.
