The games were hosted by Immediate Past Area Chair Ruth Clayton and included "Wellie Skis" - four pairs of wellies glued to two planks of wood (one pair facing in the wrong direction). We then had to negotiate an obstacle course. Another game involved throwing raw eggs over a hedge for other members of the team to catch on the other side. A four in the bag sack race and One dog and his sheep - one person wears a dogs head mask and can only communicate with his sheep by barking. The sheep can't see where they are going and have to be herded into a pen. There were 60 circlers at the event with representatives from Alsager, Congleton, Wem, Whitchurch, Sandbach and Ellesmere. At the end of the evening, Ruth handed over the "chain of office" to me - we don't do formality in this area! It was an excellent evening and was great for Area morale!
The picture of four of us in a heap on the floor includes Whitchurch Chair Sarah Duncalf, Whitchurch honorary Helen Evanson, Ruth Clayton Area IPC and Me.
