Newly formed King's Lynn Circle ran in the Bury St Edmunds Race for Life and raised over £800.00 in the process. They decided to make a bit of a statement and decided to wear Cocktail Dresses with Pink Sashes which had King's Lynn Ladies Circle written on them. "It was extremely hot" said Karen Johnson, Circle Chairman, "but luckily after we had finished one of our girls Carolee had organised a picnic complete with chilled white wine and a fab buffet which greeted us at the finish. We then all hot-tailed it to a local pub and had a well deserved lunch." Karen would like to say thank you to all the girls that took part, Carolee Ellis, Suzanne Curl, Nicola Jackson and Gemma Bix also Carolees mum for making the sashes and her (Carolees) husband for preparing the cocktail sausages for after the race. The girls did it in just under 1 hour all except Suzanne who decided to run. Mad mad mad mad mad woman. Well done girls
